Hmm, I can't access early Tyrian missions I've unlocked with my Canthan character.

I can, you only get a warning that there is a Foreign char in your group. I'm just a few missions and bonusses away from Protector of Tyria on my Canthan.

But you had to work your way from LA to Ascalon for example?
Is there a way to access early outposts instantly if you already unlocked/finished them with your Tyrian char?

No, but there are lots of runners in Lion's Arch that are running people backwards to Ascalon.

Also, walking there without henchies is easy, so it should be a breeze with henchies.

The first part is a bit tricky, as normally that would have been a mission. People have to search for an alternate route to Beacons Perch, since the mission from Gates of Kryta to Lion's Arch isn't available in Lion's Arch

If you're lvl 20, running it should be pretty easy, depending on what your main class is. The only troublesome spot would be in the north shivers when you have to run through a kind of gauntlet of slow hexes, but if you have enough hex removal/healing it should be fine. just change your secondary if you need too and grab a few run skills and you should be fine. If you do Run as One and Storm Chaser you should be fine. I ran everywhere on my assassin doing Run As One -> Dash -> Storm Chaser -> Dash -> Run As One...and so on. If you mess around the attributes right you can get it where they mesh together perfectly so you'll always have a running stance up. Then just bring some shadow arts junk for healing.

The problem is that all missions before and including gates of krita, you get no expernced or skill points for mission completion, but you can partisapate in the mission. All mission after gates of krita, you will earn exp and skill points upon completion.

It makes sense, that's because everything before LA is equivalent to the Shing Jea Monastery island (newbie island). It's the same for Tyrian born characters that travel to Cantha; if they do the 2 missions on the island, they (and thee rest of the party) don't get the rewards.

Going through Kryta was easy, the problem is having to go the long way through the Shiverpeaks...
